The machine operates with a continuous motion system, where bottles are seamlessly transported by a conveyor to a rotating turret star wheel located beneath the press capping heads. To ensure precise cap placement, the caps are carefully oriented using a waterfall cap feeder and then supplied to the turret star wheel cluster.
Equipped with vacuum chucks, the capping heads descend and securely locates the caps. With a smooth motion, the chucks transfer the press caps onto the bottles, ensuring accurate and reliable capping.
Once the bottles are properly capped, they exit the machine. In the event of a blockage at the outfeed exit, a backup sensor promptly detects it and stops the capping process. The machine will remain idle until the exit is cleared, ensuring the smooth operation of the capping process.
